Kochi: Škoda Auto India has officially introduced the New Skoda Kushaq, further strengthening its commitment to democratising European technology for Indian roads.

As the brand’s first model under the India 2.0 strategy, the New Skoda Kushaq continues to play a pivotal role in Škoda Auto India’s growth journey, offering enhanced value through segment-first technologies, advanced safety standards, and feature-rich offerings across variants.

The New Skoda Kushaq introduces several segment-leading innovations, including an all-new eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission, a Rear Seat Massage function, and a Panoramic Sunroof, making European engineering more accessible to Indian consumers.

The SUV retains its five-star Global NCAP safety rating while expanding standard safety and comfort features across the range.

New Skoda Kushaq Advances ‘Easy to Love’ Philosophy with Modern Solid Design

The New Skoda Kushaq adopts Škoda’s Modern Solid design philosophy, blending contemporary styling with the brand’s European design legacy.

Visual updates include an all-new front grille with chrome ribs and an illuminated light band, redesigned LED headlamps, front parking sensors, and LED fog lamps.

At the rear, connected LED taillamps with sequential indicators are complemented by illuminated ‘Škoda’ lettering. Alloy wheels are now standard across all variants, reinforcing the SUV’s dynamic stance.

The New Skoda Kushaq will be offered in three new colour options – Shimla Green, Steel Grey, and Cherry Red – alongside Candy White, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver, Lava Blue, and Deep Black.

For the first time, the Monte Carlo badge will be available from launch.

New Skoda Kushaq Expands ‘Real Automatics’ Portfolio with Segment-First Transmission

Reinforcing its focus on driving dynamics, the New Skoda Kushaq introduces a segment-first eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission paired with the 1.0 TSI engine, producing 85kW and 178Nm of torque.

This engine is also available with a six-speed manual transmission.

Performance-focused customers can opt for the 1.5 TSI engine delivering 110kW and 250Nm of torque, equipped with Active Cylinder Technology and mated exclusively to a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission.

In this update, the 1.5 TSI variant also features disc brakes on all four wheels. With 188 mm of ground clearance, the New Skoda Kushaq retains its versatility across urban and varied road conditions.

Enhanced Cabin Experience in the New Skoda Kushaq

The interior of the New Skoda Kushaq is elevated with a newly introduced Panoramic Sunroof and dual-colour ambient lighting.

The SUV continues to offer six-way electric front seats with ventilation, a Škoda sound system with six speakers and a subwoofer, and a boot capacity of 491 litres, expandable to 1,405 litres.

Feature enhancements include Climatronic Auto AC, electric sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, rear wiper and defogger, auto-dimming IRVM, and more than 25 safety features as standard. Higher variants receive a 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit, while mid variants are equipped with an 8-inch Digital Cockpit.

AI-Powered Infotainment Debuts in the New Skoda Kushaq

The New Skoda Kushaq is equipped with a 10.1-inch infotainment system supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Powered by next-generation digital architecture, the system enhances connectivity and in-car interaction.

A key highlight is the integration of an advanced Voice Assistant powered by Google Automotive AI Agent, bringing Gemini-enabled, context-aware voice assistance into the vehicle.

The system provides real-time information, hands-free control of vehicle functions, and is designed to recognise Indian English accents for intuitive user interaction.

New Skoda Kushaq Reinforces Safety Leadership

Safety remains central to the New Skoda Kushaq, which continues to meet five-star Global NCAP standards.

The SUV offers six airbags and over 25 active and passive safety features as standard, extending to more than 40 safety features on higher variants.

Standard safety equipment includes rain-sensing wipers, rear wiper and defogger, and auto-dimming IRVM, ensuring enhanced visibility and reduced driver fatigue across varying weather conditions.

New Skoda Kushaq Ownership Experience Strengthened with Škoda Super Care

The New Skoda Kushaq introduces the Škoda Super Care package, offering a best-in-class standard 4-year or 100,000-kilometre warranty, along with 4 years of Roadside Assistance. Customers also receive four labour-free services for up to two years or 30,000 kilometres.

The warranty can be extended up to six years, complemented by a six-year corrosion warranty and a three-year paint warranty, reinforcing Škoda Auto India’s focus on long-term ownership assurance.

Pre-bookings for the New Skoda Kushaq are now open on Škoda Auto India’s official website at ₹ 15,000, with deliveries scheduled to commence by the end of March 2026.
